According to information received by the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Kakanj, the visit has been postponed until autumn 2026 due to technical circumstances.
In cooperation with the Tourist Board of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and within activities aimed at promoting the integrated tourist offer of our canton, Kakanj was scheduled to host an international media delegation from Slovenia and Turkey (Izmir region) on May 21.
The delegation consists of 15 media representatives who, during their stay in Kakanj, were planned to explore the municipality’s key tourism potentials. The program included accommodation in one of the local hospitality facilities, as well as organized tours of the urban area of Kakanj and the cultural-historical site of Kraljeva Sutjeska.
This visit represents an important step in strengthening the international promotion of Kakanj and an additional opportunity to present the authentic tourism offer, natural beauty, and cultural heritage of our region.
We extend special gratitude to the Tourist Board of the Zenica-Doboj Canton for their continuous support, professional approach, and dedication to promoting Kakanj and the entire canton. Their work so far has created a strong foundation for further development and a joint presence on the tourism market.
Through direct contact with international media representatives, we continue building new bridges of cooperation and opening doors for the arrival of visitors from the region and beyond.
