The Tourist Association of the Municipality of Kakanj has once again demonstrated that tourism development is not an individual process, but a shared goal of all local communities.
At the session of the Tourism Council of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Director of the Tourist Association of the Municipality of Kakanj, Edin Bjelopoljak, offered concrete and completely free support to all municipalities and cities in the canton in the administrative, legal, and marketing sectors.
The message was clear: everything we have built and developed is available to everyone.
Although Kakanj is currently the only local community with a formally established tourist association, this does not mean that other municipalities and cities are not actively working on tourism development. On the contrary, the goal of this initiative is to simplify the process of establishing and improving tourism capacities across all communities through practical tools, documents, and experience already tested in practice.
The offered support includes a complete set of legal regulations, statutes, decisions, and rulebooks, free migration and development of websites modeled after visitkakanj.ba, a package of graphic elements and social media visuals, the design of promotional materials, brochures and roll-up banners, as well as strategic guidance for the development and enhancement of tourism offers.
All that is required is the basic infrastructure — a domain and hosting — while everything else is ready for implementation.
This initiative received exceptionally positive reactions from members of the Tourism Council of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, who recognized it as an example of openness, cooperation, and good practice coming from Kakanj.
Kakanj is not building tourism only for itself.
Kakanj is building tourism for the entire canton.
