The Tourist Association of the Municipality of Kakanj was established with the aim of strategically developing, promoting, and improving tourism in the Municipality of Kakanj. We operate in accordance with the Tourism Law of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, creating the foundation for a sustainable, inclusive, and competitive tourism sector.
Our activities include:
- integrating and promoting the tourism offer of the Municipality of Kakanj,
- managing tourism infrastructure entrusted for use,
- developing and branding destination tourism products,
- supporting the organization of events and public manifestations,
- improving cooperation with domestic and international tourism partners,
- preserving and promoting natural and cultural-historical heritage.
Special focus is placed on the development of tourism in underdeveloped areas of the municipality, innovation of the tourism offer, and promotion of the values that make Kakanj unique – its natural beauty, rich history, and the hospitality of the local community.
